Euroluce 2025

Euroluce 2025, held from April 8 to 13 at Fiera Milano Rho, proved once again that it’s a leader in lighting design. As part of Salone del Mobile, Euroluce showcased over 300 international brands and notched up 302 548 presences, highlighting the evolving role of light in modern living.

The main theme this year was lighting that connects with people. Designers focused on creating lights that aren’t just practical, but also calming, comforting, and inspiring. Whether at home, at work, or in public spaces, lighting is becoming more personal and emotional. Instead of harsh overhead bulbs, we saw soft glows, warm tones, and lamps that create mood and atmosphere.

A lot of the lighting at Euroluce was inspired by nature. Soft curves, natural materials, and organic forms made the booths feel peaceful and welcoming. This trend, known as biophilic design, is all about bringing the feeling of the outdoors inside.

Trends from the fair:

  • Smart and adaptive lighting: Many new lights adjust automatically to the time of day or how you’re feeling. Some even help with sleep and focus.
  • Sustainable materials: Eco-friendly design was everywhere. Brands used recycled glass, metal, and fabric, showing that lighting can be beautiful and kind to the planet.
  • Sculptural lighting: Many lamps looked more like pieces of art than traditional lighting. One standout collection featured glowing fabric shapes that seemed to float in the air, gently resembling flowers or soft clouds.

Walking through Euroluce 2025 didn’t feel like a trade show, it felt like a journey through different worlds made of light. Some spaces were dreamy and quiet, others bold and futuristic. But everywhere, the focus was on how light makes us feel – not just how it looks.

Well met,
