With more than 25 years of experience, Alemtek develops and supplies wire suspension for luminaires – wire grippers, steel wire, canopies, and complete suspension kits. We handle the suspension system from first concept to series production, so your team stays focused on the luminaire.
Aesthetics: The suspension has to carry the load without competing with the design. Wire grippers are available in a range of sizes and in nickel, black or white, so the hardware either matches the luminaire or stays out of sight. Where a standard option doesn’t fit the design, we specify to your requirement.
Installation time: Complex ceiling details and awkward drops add labour cost on site. Pre-made suspension kits, supplied cut to length, reduce installation to a few minutes per fixture.
Load distribution: Uneven weight distribution makes a fixture hang out of level. Multi-point suspension corrects this.
Protecting electronics: Power cords, drivers and circuit boards need protecting during installation and in service. Canopy mounts and correctly specified wire entries keep the suspension load off the electrical components and away from the cord.
Service access: Pendant luminaires need to come down for maintenance and lamp replacement, and to be separable at end of life. Releasable grippers allow the fixture to be lowered and re-set without cutting the wire or replacing components.
Documentation: Your type approval depends on evidence you can produce. We supply tensile test reports, from our own facility or an independent third party, and full material traceability by production batch – the data your compliance team needs for wire suspension testing.
Concept and design: We start from your luminaire, not from our catalogue. Where a standard gripper or canopy fits, we say so. Where it doesn’t, we design to your requirement.
Development: CAD drawings, in-house prototyping, free samples, tested load data, and custom tooling where the volume justifies it.
Testing: Every production batch is tensile tested and documented. Reports available on request, for any product in the range.
Packaging and kits: Ready-to-use wire suspension kits, packed to suit your assembly line or supplied direct for your installer.
Ongoing supply: Delivery reliability, compliance documentation with each batch, and direct access to the people who develop the products.
Partnership: We work with designers, product developers, production, quality and purchasing – because a wire suspension system touches all of them.
