With more than 25 years of experience, Alemtek develops and supplies wire suspension for signage – wire grippers, steel wire, wire endings, hooks and complete suspension kits. We handle the suspension system from first concept to series production, so your team stays focused on the sign.
Placement and adjustment: Signs earn their value from where they hang, and the right position is often decided on site. Adjustable grippers let the installer set the drop and change it later without cutting wire or replacing parts – useful when a sign is repositioned or a retail layout is reworked.
Fixing to the sign: Punched holes, aluminium profiles, threaded bosses, hooks – signage carries no standard attachment point, and the fixing method decides which wire ending you need.
Working at height: Every extra minute on a ladder or platform costs money and carries risk. Kits supplied cut to length and made especially for your sign removes unnecessary installations steps.
Irregular shapes: Signs are rarely symmetrical. When the weight sits off centre, the nearest wire carries more than its share. A sign hanging even slightly crooked is noticed immediately. Read our safety information to ensure a correct installation.
Mounting: Concrete, plasterboard, suspended grid, steelwork – the fixing into the structure is where most suspension failures actually occur. Our figures cover the wire and gripper; the anchor and its suitability for the substrate remain the installer’s responsibility.
Public spaces and documentation: Signage hangs above people in retail, transport and public buildings. Suspension systems need to comply with the standards. We supply tensile test reports and full material traceability by production batch.
Concept: We start from the sign – its weight, material, attachment points and centre of gravity.
Development:Â CAD files, in-house prototyping, free samples, tested load data, and custom tooling where volume justifies it.
Testing: Every production batch is tensile tested and documented, with reports available for any product in the range.
Kits and labelling: Ready-to-use kits, packed for your assembly line or installer. Custom labelling on request.
Ongoing supply: Delivery reliability, compliance documentation with each batch, and direct contact with the people who develop the products.
