Habitare 2025

Helsinki, 19 September 2025 – Habitare, Finland’s largest furniture, design, and interior architecture event, returns to Messukeskus Helsinki from 10–14 September 2025 under the theme “Touch / Koskettaa.” During the five days of Habitare 2025, the event attracted over 42 700 visitors and over 500 companies.

Suspended lighting is no longer just functional but increasingly sculptural and atmospheric. Exhibitors such as Zero Interior presented new designs, while Secto Design’s Kumulo pendant, inspired by clouds and trees, illustrates how natural forms and materials are influencing contemporary suspended lighting. Warm wood, biomaterials, and modular clusters reflect Habitare’s emphasis on authenticity and sensory connection.

Acoustic design also takes the spotlight. Companies like Abstracta, together with Akustiikkapalvelut showcase suspended absorbers, baffles, and hybrid solutions combining sound control with integrated lighting. These elements not only improve comfort in public and office spaces but also align with Habitare’s focus on emotional and human-centered environments.
