Takes thicker wire for heavier loads. Loops are formed by hand and hold without crimping or applied torque, so capacity does not vary with installation technique. Releasing requires a pull, the reverse of a standard push mechanism. The loop stays closed if the gripper is knocked or pressed against a surface. Straight knurling gives a firm hold during adjustment, with a machined finish where the gripper is visible.
Applications include large signs, acoustic baffles, and suspended display and exhibition structures.
