The R-ferrule is used as an end stopper on wire ropes. They adhere to EN 573-3 standards and meet the material requirements of EN 13411-3. Its estimated strength is around 50% of the wire rope’s minimum breaking load (MBL), making it ideal for general-purpose applications, provided that the required strength verification tests are conducted.
